Frequently Asked Questions

There’s no such thing as a dumb question. Here are answers to the really great questions I hear most often. If you don’t see your question or answer — shoot me an email here.

  • I don’t. The strategy and research involved in designing a brand, or even just a logo, requires time and collaboration. I want to provide you with the best design possible — and that means mood-boarding, discussing your mission and goals, and more.

  • Deposits are not refundable. A deposit is required to hold your spot on my calendar and to cover time spent together. It also covers the homework materials supplied at the start of the project.

  • I do. You’ll have the opportunity to review my proposal and deposit request prior to accepting the terms and signing a contract. Most often a 50% deposit is requested, with the remainder due upon project completion. In some cases, such as projects with longer timelines, we may agree on three equal payments.

  • I specialize in Squarespace design. I find the platform to be visually beautiful, mobile responsive, and easy for my clients to maintain after I turn it over. That said, I add custom code to each and every website I design so that the end results are unique to your brand.

    If you’re interested in an eCommerce website, I use Shopify in addition to Squarespace.

  • I don’t. I will however design social media graphics in Canva as templates that you can use on your own or provide to your social media manager.
