I’ve been in your shoes.
After almost 20 years in the corporate world, I just knew it wasn’t for me.
Don’t get me wrong — I loved the camaraderie, the teamwork, and the Happy Hours(!) — yet I sought the freedom of being my own boss and setting my own hours. I also wanted to enjoy being a mom.
Now I spend my days sharing my experience and helping my fellow entrepreneurs find their paths to success.
My Backstory.
As a child, I loved to draw, paint, and use my hands to create new things. My favorite spot was at our cottage in Michigan, where I spent my summers either in the water or learning to macramé and paint. I dreamt of a career in a creative field — either as a fashion designer or creating art. After testing the waters in less creative marketing and project management roles, I turned my dream into reality.
On the upside, my years in the corporate world taught me a lot about business and deadlines, and my years being a mom brought me the gifts of patience and multitasking.
